The Post Majority Caseworker is responsible for working with Youth/Adults to assist as needed with Addictions support to ensure a successful transition to independence. This includes collaboration with the Permanency Unit, TAP/SFP Unit and Prevention Unit. This role supports educational and/or career planning for youth and to Act as an advocate for the Youth to support their transition to independence. The Post Majority Caseworker will develop and implement effective strategies to support youth/adults to reach self-sufficiency withing their community, to enhance the safety, security and independence of youth/adult formerly in care. The Post Majority Caseworker will ensure the collaborative efforts between community members, programs, leadership, other stakeholders and staff improve the safety and living conditions of families. The Post Majority Caseworker is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Siksika Children’s Services Program in accordance with Siksika culture and traditions incorporated by the agency.
