🌱 Supporting youth and career growth
We’re starting the month with a strong focus on youth and career development:
- Youth Career Planning @ SNHS
🕘 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
This session supports youth in exploring career paths, building confidence, and planning next steps toward employment or education.
💻 Microsoft Office skills training
Build your workplace confidence with hands‑on Microsoft Office (MSO) training throughout April. These sessions are designed for learners at all levels:
- Windows File Management – 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Word – Level 1 & Level 2 – 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Excel – Levels 1, 2 & 3 – 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Outlook – Level 1 – 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
These workshops help strengthen digital skills that are essential for today’s workplaces
🧭 Career readiness & employment workshops
April also includes practical workshops to help community members prepare for employment and entrepreneurship:
- Business Proposal Writing – 1:00 PM
- Resume & Cover Letter Workshop (OSCC) – 10:30 AM
- Alberta RCMP Information Session – 1:30 PM
These sessions are ideal for anyone looking to enhance job readiness, explore new opportunities, or take the next step in their career journey.

📅 2‑day session | 🕘 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
This training supports new drivers in gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to move forward safely.
