Trauma Series: Development Theory

Date: October 15, 2026
Time: 1:00pm

A four-month Trauma program that is delivered either to a group, family, or individual. The program is based on our traditional ways of knowing. It is explained through experiences and neuroscience. Neuroscience is only stating what we as Indigenous people have known all along. The program is created to address the source of disruption in our communities which are composed of families. The program will be delivered twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday from 1 – 3 PM in Siksika, and Calgary. It is created to be a cycle. The program will start over again and start a new cycle. The purpose of this is to make sure that all families have the chance to attend each group. If a family misses one group, they can catch it on the next cycle. This gives the family ample time to prepare what they need to do in order to attend each group.

Calgary (october 7, 8, 15, 16, 29)
